Services & Specialties

We are evaluated as Commercial Contractors not only by how well we self-perform our own work, but how well we manage the work of sub-trades. The combination of these aspects of a construction project are critical to the overall success of the project.

As with many commercial construction projects, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Structural Steel and sprinkler scopes are loosely defined. We have a unique approach when managing the MEPS trades because our team holds journey licenses in these specific divisions and have years of hands on experience with them both in the field and the office.

We have a direct HVAC knowledge-base stemming from practical work experience as a mechanical contractor. Our depth of knowledge and experience in this trade is rooted in our extensive background in performing and managing mechanical trades as well as working closely with mechanical engineers on commercial construction projects.

Our team has integral knowledge of electrical requirements for commercial structures and tenant spaces. Our expertise is rooted in the design build phase - frequently developing the scope needed to start the project and successfully complete.

Our owner, Charlie McClain, holds an LME Commercial Electrical License for up to 600 volts and Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Journeyman License

As an Oregon commercial general contractor in the Cascadia Subduction Zone, we have gained a range of expertise in seismic rehabilitation of existing structures.

We have been awarded several seismic rehabilitation projects for Oregon Public Schools under The Seismic Rehabilitation Grant Program (SRGP). This is a state of Oregon competitive grant program that provides funding for the seismic rehabilitation of critical public buildings, particularly public schools and emergency services facilities.

We also have a breadth of experience providing seismic upgrades to existing buildings within the private sector. When building owners, property developers, and other stakeholders make decisions to purchase or make improvements to existing building properties, it is essential that they have a clear understanding of seismic-upgrade triggers’ under our current building codes, as they can have a significant economic impact on the project.

We are very well versed with code requirements that may trigger significant upgrades, and we can provide preliminary budgeting for anticipated seismic work.
